Had some hail damage recently. My insurance company sent out an inspector who seemed to have done a pretty good job of inspecting our roof and saying it needed totally replaced. I started looking for roofing companies and there seems to be thousand of them in our area. Still, I looked at the websites of a few and found some more helpful than the others. One company stood out the most and that was Elk Contract Roofing. They had a lot of info on how the process of getting a new roof worked.I contacted them and they sent a guy out the next day. That's when we met Will Bacon from Elk Contract Roofing. He came into our home and proceeded to explain in detail what his company could do for us. We got the feeling right away that he was more concerned with us getting a new roof rather than when they got paid. I asked when they could start and he had a crew out to our house within a week or less.From that point on, we left everything to Will. He was on the job site making sure everything was going the way he explained it. They did their work on the roof expeditiously and professionally. When the job was done, there wasn't a nail or any kind of debris in my yard.Will also said our insurance covered damage to the guttering including downspouts and some painting on our front porch. He arranged to have all that done also without us having to bother getting separate contracts out to do that work.So, it took about two weeks for all the work to get done and for us to pay Elk Contract Roofing and receive a final paid-in-full receipt. Now of course this didn't cost us nothing. I had a deductible that came out of my pocket, but Will Bacon insured that I wasn't charged for anything that we hadn't agreed to.Bottomline, if you need your roof replaced and have decent insurance company, call Elk Contract Roofing. My next door neighbor referred me to Nick due to Elk having done a great job on his roof. They were actually better than great on our roof. First, Nick was very responsive and helpful as we talked through what I wanted, and his bid came in lower than I anticipated. Then when the work began they operated like an orchestra. They brought a crew of about 13 workers and were able to replace our 3400 sq ft single story roof in one day, and it came out perfect. They were super conscientious about every detail from beginning to end, explaining what they were doing and making sure we were happy with everything along the way. They painted every roof jack to match the shingles, cleaned all the gutters, and even repainted some old trim that had discolored over time. And when they left, there were literally no signs whatsoever - other than our beautiful new roof - that anyone had even been here. All in all just a fantastic experience. Elk Contracting will be my first call for anything we need done on the exterior of our home in the future.

He was at our home within 2 hours of first contact, was there for the insurance inspection and was extremely helpful in dealing with our adjuster. I contacted Elk Contracting after our hail storm and they sent out Will who was amazing. He inspected the roof, fence and other aspects on my property and I filed a claim. Will then came out and met the insurance inspector and pointed out all the things he had found. Will was there every step of the way and submitted the paperwork to my insurance showing all the work done. The roof was done and looks amazing along with the gutters. I highly recommend Elk Contracting if you are in need of a roof.

Unbelievable to find honesty, professionalism, and integrity in one company these days, but we did with Elk Contracting. The employees were respectful when replacing our roof. Cameron and Nick were extremely helpful and patient when it came to dealing with the insurance company. Everything was explained upfront with no gray areas. I would recommend Elk Roofing to everyone. I had an issue with wind damage to my roof, specifically the ridge cap, that if it wasn’t taken care of right away rain would have seeped into the house. Mike came out and did a temporary fix on it, discussed the damage with my insurance adjuster, showing hlm previous hail damage and other issues.I was completely impressed with the roofing crew, working efficiently, cleaning up, and how courteous they were. Mike Dalmolin and his team went above and beyond with this project that involved two roofs, a garage roof rebuild, and skylights.His team is the best! After the April hail storm came through our neighborhood I reached out to Mike Damolin with Elk Contracting. Mike came out the same day I contacted him to perform an inspection on our roof. He returned to the house when the Insurance company sent out their inspectors to make sure they were thorough in their inspection. When the Insurance company was dragging their feet and requested another inspection from an engineer, Mike did not hesitate to be on site with the engineer to make sure a thorough inspection was completed. His crew worked tirelessly to complete our roof replacement in 2 days and clean up all evidence of them having been here. Can say I’m 100% satisfied with the job completed by Mike and his crew!

I had seen some other roof jobs Mike had done in our neighborhood, and had him look at ours for hail damage. He made notes with pictures that I used with the insurance adjuster. We qualified for a new roof and after answering my questions over a couple of days, I picked out the color and shingle weight and work began.I think any roofing company is only as good as the people they have working, and elk constructing had a really good crew at my house. The roof edges were even, and I didn’t notice any “ridges” or “bumps” in the shingles…. I was very happy with the job …. There was another company doing a neighbors house around the corner, and it took that crew a full day more to complete…and I don’t think that roof looked as even as mine .The Elk crew did a great job cleaning up as well

He let me know it would be a few hours before he could show up and he was right on time. He climbed up on the roof, Identified the problem, and had the proper repairs made in a timely manner. The quality of work was top-notch. I would highly recommend using this company for any of your roofing needs.

I cannot begin to say enough about how helpful and easy to work with Travis has been! He helped walk me though the process and dealt with my insurance adjuster to make sure I would get coverage. He communicated with me every step of the way, let me pick out the color I wanted and got me some extra vents put in to help in the summertime. The contractors that did the install were there before the sun came up, started at 8AM and were done before noon, no screws or debris left behind, you wouldn't have even known there were there!

This outfit has made two really excellent (and overdue) flat roof repairs on my house. The experience was ideal. The estimator kept his appointments and coordinated a detailed and accurate proposal. The installers were considerate, and most impressively, immaculate in the cleanup of old and new debris. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Elk again.

Elk Contracting was very easy to work with and fast and efficient. Their crew finished our job in 1.5 days for a large steep roof. They were also very clean and took the time to cover our pool and pool deck. After the job was completed they took the time to look for nails and all debris to clean up the job. Mike the PM was easy to work with and communication was always a priority. I don’t think you would go wrong choosing Elk for your next roofing project. They are honest and reliable.
